sunshine and mexican food...mmmm

Today started with a lovely walk in the New Mexico sun to the training center. It was slightly cool but very sunny!

Had a great circuit full body work out at lunch followed by some tummy left overs.

But tonight....tonight was lovely! We went to old town in Albuquerque and it had the best shops. It was such an unexpected mix of art, crafts, clothes, and lots of local artifacts. So awesome!

Then...then there was dinner....oh man it was yummy! I had rolled enchiladas and some super yummy sopapillas...so good!

Plus the company was pretty awesome also. Great night!

Just as thought...nothing as planned!

Family dinner at Moose's Tooth was the only thing on the list that actually happened. Plus was a highlight in my opnion.

I had my favorite salmon burrito with an apple cider beer...mmmmmmmmm. Plus the company was awesome! So much fun!

Saturday- We had a really relaxing late morning at the IL's house. Then Warren and IL's went to his aunts house to help her get the house ready to sell.
I headed out to find a birthday present for Christina's 15th Birthday party. Not so good experience. The sales lady asked if I was shopping for my daughter?!?! I would have been 12 when I had her...excuse me? Needless to sale she did not get any commission from me...oh well!

Then I headed to the birthday party...so much fun! She had a scavenger hunt and Sharron and I were team captain's. We let Christina's team win...ha ha ha not really, but that is our story and we are sticking to it!

Sunday- We return to finish some things up at the aunts house. No Alice in Wonderland since it was sold out. We did see The Crazies and it got at least two good jumps out of me! Plus I thought it was pretty good...oh and I got yummy yummy popcorn!

So overall it was a great weekend but not exactly what we had originally planned.

I am also in training this week to learn how to read MTP's. So post will be sporadic...sorry to my lovely reader;)

Plans never go as planned

The weekend line up as planned...

Tonight = family dinner at the lovely Moose's Tooth...mmmmm

Tomorrow = finishing mudding the front room and maybe texture

Sunday = maybe a trip out to the Piaskowski's new digs and then maybe to Alice in Wonderland...if we can still get tickets

Lets see what really happens and if anything goes as planned:) I am open to any adventure!

Baby love *hearts*

So another great friend is pregnant!! Plus I got to go to her first ultrasound today! The little person(P) looked like a little gummy bear! Little P was so cute and had all of the proper things a little P should have at 8 weeks. We couldn't hear the heart beat, but could see it beating away at a healthy 169. I can not explain how excited I am for this person and their little gummy growing in there!! I also can not use names because no one in her family knows except her husband. I felt so privileged and honored that she shared such sacred info and that she let me see the little P before anyone else!! Love to her and her new little family!!

Yoga Thursday = no love today:(

So for work I have been attending a conference. Today was a wellness afternoon. I had signed up for a yoga/nutrition session. Sounded great!

Let me start by explaining that I work in a place that employees an older crowd and many MANY are smokers, very over weight, have mutliple medical issues, or are extremly older.

The "yoga" session was a airhead just sportically doing a variety of different poses...no flowing...no breathing...no real instruction. This could have been detrimental to many of the participants as most had no yoga experience and had reasons to really focus on proper form and not pushing. This instructor did some moves that I was not introduced to until after doing yoga for a year. These were not beginner moves and she did not cover the fact that you should push to pain. There was so much cracking and popping in the class. Crazy! I would not be surprised if people hurt themselves! Butthen a true sad thing part happen...her shivasana(spelled that all wrong!!) sucked! How hard is it to guide relaxation?? If you have no idea just shut up and people will relax! She started talking about some optical nerve and how it functions and the reason you want to try and relax it while you are suppose to be relaxing. It did not work for me!

Then the nutrition portion was even worse! Had the presenter simply presented, it would have been ok, however then she open the floor to some guy that was attending the session. OH MY GOODNESS!! He started going off about amino acids and making some crazy vitmin b salt drink that you need to drink every morning and how he takes 3000 more mg of vitamins then recommended because you have to so you can look as good as he does...then he mentioned he was going to be a great grandfather and everyone was all "you look so young...WOW". Then a little later a lady was all "I would have not thought you were any older than around 55 or so" Then he says..."well I am 55". So much for looking younger...lol! The he proceeded to say that to eat well you have to have passion and love in your life or you can not eat well? Then followed with all kinds of crazy herbal and supplemtns that you should take so that you can live to be 1000. Yep, that was not one of my typos he said if you can live 20 more years then you will be able to live until 1000 becasue they are going to start growing artificle body parts and have all kinds of crazy things. IT WAS NUTS!

So there was no yoga love today:) However, I had a great morning session on financial planning. I will be getting in control of everything very soon. Plus I feel so adult to say I have a financial advisor.

Rome was not built in a day...

My new organizational quote. I have now organized almost all of the files from the oddest filing system I have ever seen. I am not sure how the person before could accomplish anything! So one thing down many many more to do. But it is one day at a time.

Goals for work:
1. Have all files organized (large and small filing drawers)
2. Clean out old space
3. Clean and organize the supply area

I want to be finished with the above task by April 7th. That takes into consideration that I have two and half weeks worth of training in the time period also.

Rome will be built!

Maternity Monday

We talked a lot about the upcoming adventure on our trip. fun talks. excited talks. scared talks. All the fun that comes with trying to figure out if you truly are ready for one of the toughest, most fulfilling, most relationship trying adventures ever. How do you know when you are ready?

Is it when you own a house big enough for more children then you ever want? check

Is it when you enter into your career? check, well maybe;)

Is it when you have loads of $$ in the bank? no check, but working on it!

Is it when you have all the love in the universe to give? check

Is it when you have the burning in your soul to reproduce? check check!

Is it when your house is under construction? check

Is it when you still have a few more things on your "to do before baby" list? check

So anyway this list could go on for pages. I am not sure what truly makes you ready to embark on the journey. I have been told many of times that if you waited until you were ready for children that you would never have them. So maybe not being ready is truly the time you are ready? You confused...me too!

We had originally planned on getting off BC at the end of May. hmmm that is two (kind of thee) months away. I just think that is too soon now that it is fast approaching. So we are gonna keep pill popping until August with the hope of being knocked up by Christmas...but should it take longer...that would be ok by me. I think we are going to play with the "whole ready but not" thing and see how it goes.

and know for some fun pictures...

How cute are these pants...a must buy for our future little one.

With daddy being a hunter (we eat a lot of game meat and fish that we catch and kill for nourishment) I think this is so cute. I think War would agree. This will most likely be a D.I.Y project in the future as these little guys are about $100 each.

Can not remember who the org. artist was:( but I love this and would love to paint something with this saying..because it truly is pretty amazing when you look around.

First Comment...woot woot

While the first might also be the last...I am still excited!! Not only is it a huge compliment but it comes from one of my favorite bloggers! Thank you Connie at CC's Space!! Thank you!!
