I have been thinking lately...a lot about our baby plans. With the date ever approaching I think we need just a wee bit more time. I know everyone says "if you wait till you are ready for a baby you will never have one" ...well, we say we can wait until our house is done and not a construction zone.
Our original plan was to get the upstairs done and then try for a baby while finishing the downstairs. Well, I know it could take a while to get pregnant and if that was a guarantee then it would be fine. But what if it doesn't?? The nursery will be downstairs...our bedroom will be downstairs...so we would be rushing to try and finish everything before the D date = not fun. So wouldn't it make sense to put it off just a few more months for a little extra piece of mind? I think so!
I know Warren wasn't prepared for me wanting more time. He actually thought at first I wanted to move up the date as I started with "wouldn't a March baby be perfect?"...*just for the record we would have to start now for a march baby next year...lol*
So as of now we are going to get into the baby make'n mode next year...early next year, but still next year and I think that is just pure responsible baby making;)
